In summer 2018, the "Freundeskreis Schlosspark Lütetsburg e.V." was founded. Among other things, the members of the association have made the areas of monument and environmental protection, landscape conservation and the promotion of culture in Lütetsburg Castle Gardens their mission. The purpose of the association is to preserve Lütetsburg Castle Gardens as a unique historical garden monument in East Frisia for future generations and to help preserve it.

Furthermore, it is an important concern of the association to secure the biodiversity of wild animals and plants in this unique habitat. Together and under the guidance of the administration of Lütetsburg Park Gardens, the members of the association take on tasks on their own responsibility and/or ensure that funds are made available.

Your support will benefit the following projects of the "Freundeskreis Schlossparks Lütetsburg e.V.":

• information and education about the architecture and history of Lütetsburg Castle Gardens.
• establishing scientific documentation in order to preserve the park's monumental substance as best as possible and, if necessary, to restore it, e.g. archiving documents that reflect the original design of the park;
• active involvement in measures to preserve the garden complex, e.g. by restoring and preserving paths, canals, installations and architectural details;
• research projects in connection with the preservation of historic monuments
• organising art and cultural events, such as art exhibitions, concerts or theme evenings or readings
• idealistic and permanent promotion of the goals of landscape conservation, environmental protection and nature conservation
